We created this blog as a way to promote the sale of our house and full service graphics business back in March 2007. By June that same year, we were headin’ down the highway, shaken, not stirred.
Here we go again…
Here we are another decade later, and we have decided to sell the dream mountain property we call Jerry’s Acres. Shake it up!

Why? If I had my way I would never let go of this property. It is the ultimate spot to spend the summer, there just happens to be a house in the way.
By the time we returned this Spring, it had been nearly two years since we’ve been here. We have no intention of hanging up the keys anytime soon, and our potential travel plans have us on the road full-time for the foreseeable future. That makes the house a rather glamorous storage unit. So, we’re taking care of that.
We have listed this dream Rocky Mountain home for sale, and once again gotten rid of nearly everything we own.
Only a few minutes from the quaint mountain town of Red Feather Lakes, and just about one hour from downtown Fort Collins, this place is perfect for crazy people like us who want to get away from it all while still having everything you need to work from home. You can’t beat the view!

We have everything we need. Peace, quiet, solitude, and close proximity to nature. Very close.
Everything You Need
There’s a great hardware store nearby, three markets, a post office, veterinarian, restaurants, and two liquor stores. We’ve got our own well, septic system, and dependable power provided by the PVREA.
The Crystal Lakes HOA provides road maintenance for easy year-round access. And best of all, our location gets excellent Verizon cellular reception for reliable phone and data service.
We just don’t need the house. This beautiful big, beautiful, comfortable house, with the even more beautiful views.
But we love the area, so we are looking for some vacant land with an RV lot, or where we can build one. That’s exactly what we were looking for back in 2009, when we fell in love with this property.
But as Rene said, Jerry’s Acres is a state of mind, not a specific location. Have sign, will travel keep on travelin’…
