Happy Holidaze! Dazed and confused by the whirlwind of activity and emotion the holidays bring? We hope you’re taking a moment to enjoy the ride. And in case you’ve missed us, we’ve had a lot going on around the mobile HQ, but we’ll keep this short and sweet…as if you need any more sweets today. 😉
Since our wild cross-country ride and search for our new rig, we’ve let the posting slide here while working hard at Tripawds and RV LIFE. We’ve just about completed our major server migration which we should have done years ago. It’s no easy feat moving 2,300+ blogs and 17+ years of discussion forums to a new host. Not to mention the email clusterfuck reconfiguration and gremlins that have crawled out of some rather old code. That’s why subscribers may not have received notification about our past few posts.
Rene and I are also working hard to migrate our Tripawds community engagement platform to Circle. Oh, and I’m launching a new website for my favorite rabbi. So, a lot going on for sure. But enough excuses, I digress yet again.
As this festive season rolls in, we hope you’re enjoying festivities with friends and family, wherever you are. We’re happy to be visiting la familia, and sad to be missing our crazy Willow family. So, we want to send you all a big, warm shout-out for following along all these years. Whether you’re decking the halls in your RV or lighting the menorah by the campfire, we hope your holidays are filled with joy, laughter, and maybe a little too much eggnog.
Though, come to think of it, I don’t know any RVers with rigs that have halls long enough to deck. And I’m pretty sure your candles will melt if you set them to close to that fire. So much for thinking the bot could craft our holiday message.
Enjoying Happy Holidaze Since 2007
Looking back on our roadtrippin’ adventures over the years, we’ve celebrated Christmas on the road in some pretty wild places. Remember that time we strung lights across the desert cactus? Or when we roasted marshmallows under the Northern Lights? Okay, those things never actually happened. But each year always brings a new twist to our holiday traditions. And, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
While we cruise into 2025, we wish you plenty of good health, happiness, and prosperity for the new year. May your travels be safe, your campsites scenic, and your fuel prices low. Thanks for being part of our journey!
Happy Holidaze, we hope to see you down the road.
Those krampus ran amok this year without Nelly to stop them! Miss you guys!
