We’re not huge NASCAR fans, but when we learned that Stewart-Haas Racing had Clint Bowyer driving the One Cure car in the Las Vegas 400 – the same week we were in town for the Western Veterinary Conference – we raced to get credentials.
The One Cure initiative to end cancer in pets and people is near and dear to our hearts. And the fine folks at the CSU Animal Cancer Center came through at top speed to get us a VIP tour complete with garage pass.
It was exciting to watch Clint take his practice laps for his big race the next day. After a tour of the #14 car hauler and lunch with S-H team representatives, we walked along pit row to check out the cars before the flag dropped to start the Xfinity series race of the day.
Enjoy this front row view we had from the Stewart-Haas pit box to watch Cole Custer pilot the #00 car, and see the pit crew in action – complete with Xfinity series laps and slow motion pit stop.
Exciting days like this wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t live the life we do – working hard to live the dream!
Check out the Live Work Dream Gallery for many more photos from from our fun day at the races…
What a great experience!! I’m not a big Nascar fan, but just to get to experience the atmosphere of a big race would be a chance of a life time. Also to know that the race is for such a great cause would make it all the better. So glad you are living your dreams.
